Our poem reads :
A year gone by, it's come so soon,
it started off so well,
romance, wedding, honeymoon,
pure bliss as I could tell.
But no-one tells you what's in store for tidy, ordered life,
becoming 'twixt, adjoined in law,
now husband, married, wife.
For when I made those wedding vows,
and pledged my heart and more,
I'd unforseen that this allows,
for pants left on the floor,
and random mess, a fork, a cup,
it's really not my goal,
to find the toilet seat left up,
or hunt remote control.
And one year on from our 'I do'
give thanks to all above,
that you're the paper, I'm the glue,
and luckily its love.
Unframed prints come wrapped in cellophane and despatched in a sturdy board backed envelope.
