My first impressions from the lovely wrapped romper were high – like a little present.
I was not disappointed with this. It looks absolutely lovely. The pattern is very pretty with soft pink colour detail.
I am very happy that the incredibly soft feel of this romper continues wash after wash.
The design is perfect for the weather right now. My baby is still in baby grows the majority of the time, therefore its handy she can have bear feet.
It has been made easy to put on with the handy poppers, and they are all central (unlike some baby grows that are on the side).
This would make a lovely gift, as I would not normally spend this much on a simple baby grow for my chiildren. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this for friends and family as a gift.
My Shumnki Woodland Romper Suit arrived beautifully wrapped in tissue paper as if it were a present and my expectations were instantly set very high. The print on the suit is a very cute and pretty light pink design consisting of little hedgehogs, mice and owls. Before using it I decided to wash it on a 60 degree 2 hour wash, which i do quite regularly with my daughters clothes. The suit washed beautifully, there was no shrinkage, fading to the print or roughening or bobbling to the material. Nor was there any after subsequent washes.
I found the style of the suit, that is short sleeves with long legs but no feet not only unusual but also really useful and versatile especially as the season has been changing and it’s been too warm for a full romper suit but not warm enough for shorts. The fact that it’s made of 100% cotton has given me the confidence to know it’s not going to irritate my daughters delicate skin as well as allowing her skin to breathe. I was given the 6-12 month size for my 6 month old and I found the size perfect, a little loose which I prefer and with room to grow, even with her rather rubenesque thighs and arms. The neck with the poppers undone create a large enough hole to fit easily over my daughters head without any struggle or discomfort and all the poppers are done up and undone with ease. I think this suit is not only great looking and practical but would make a super gift especially given the beautiful way it arrives to your door. It is more expensive than some other brands but given its quality and the amount of use you will be able to get from it I think it makes it a very wise and competitive investment. It has definitely become a wardrobe staple and a firm favourite.
I was sent the Woodland Romper from Shmunki to try on my 6 month old. From the moment I opened the package I knew this would be a quality piece of clothing, the romper was beautifully wrapped in purple tissue paper. The romper itself is beautifully soft and well made. The woodland animals print is not garish at all and is very pleasant in a pale pink. The size received was 6-12 months, I did initially think it was going to be huge on my little girl, but it fits her perfectly with a bit of room to grow. I do not think it’ll last until she’s 12 months though as she is rather tall already. With poppers just on the legs and around the neck it really does make nappy changing easier. The overall body fit is good, the arm and ankle cuffs are not tight. My daughter is very comfortable in this. It has been washed several times and it washes well and remains lovely and soft. With the changing weather recently I am satisfied that she’s comfortable in all temperatures wearing the romper. She’s also crawling and I haven’t seen and excessive wear on the knees or bobbling. These are on the more expensive side of baby clothing, however I wouldn’t hesitate buying a gift set for a friend should they have a baby, also maybe another for my little one.
