Shmuncki Review

We were sent the most beautiful jacket to review from Shmuncki. This Liberty Art Fabric Betsey Ann Jacket is a welcome edition to Charlotte’s Spring & Summer wardrobe as it is light weight and not too thick for the upcoming sunny weather. I am personally a huge fan of liberty fabric so I am overjoyed that Charlotte gets to see and wear this gorgeous fabric for herself.

I have to admit to be rather nervous when it came to putting her something white, I know I avoid white colours myself due to sticky handprints being rather attracted to this colour. We can happily say it has been in and out the wash several times since Charlotte started to wear it and it still looks as good as it did new. Only yesterday was it covered in strawberries after lunch and today it is washed and still brilliantly white.

The jacket is 100% cotton with the trim being in tana lawn which to me is perfect for babies delicate skin. We have it in size 12-18months and I believe it to be true to size for us, Charlotte has just turned 14 months and I can see it lasting her for many months to come.

It could make a beautiful new baby gift as well as being a statement piece to add to your babies wardrobe. If like me you love the fabric but are not after a jacket then you have the option of a baby grow or sleeved vest. My only grumble is that it would be nice if gift wrapping was included or cheaper but then my eco friendly side applauds this. It did make us smile to sit and unwrap the jacket with Charlotte.
